This splendid tea plantation situated in the hills atop Koggala provides tours of the tea estate that are both informative and complimentary. You will sample over twenty-five varieties of tea and observe their production, including the renowned Virgin White tea, a delicate beverage created from the newest and tiniest leaves. In contrast to the average large plantation laborer, who harvests 23 kilograms of black tea per day, these individuals only manage to harvest 150 grams of virgin white leaves. 6 kilometers inland from the coastal highway; the 131-kilometer monument indicates the way.
